Across Canada, employers are increasingly being asked to do something that sounds simple on paper but is difficult in practice: demonstrate that they have made reasonable, targeted efforts to recruit from underrepresented and designated groups. At the same time, many people within those same communities continue to struggle to even see job opportunities that are supposedly meant to reach them. Designated Reach exists to address that disconnect. Not by promising outcomes. Not by gaming the system. And not by turning recruitment into ideology. Designated Reach is a national job platform built for one specific purpose: to make targeted job outreach visible, measurable, affordable, and defensible, while giving underrepresented job seekers a place where opportunities intended for them actually appear.
